Nancy Wilson is closing in on her newest album releasing on May 7th called You And Me.
The guitarist stated that she wants to go back to her roots as a songwriter before her legacy. “I felt like I was once again able to reconnect with my pre-Heart self, my college-girl self, creating poetic, intimate and romantic songs, which pretty much is what I first brought in to Heart.”
Many musicians are included on the album from Sammy Hagar to Duff McKagan. Similarly, she’ll be paying tribute to other artists and their work.
The EVH tribute has recently garnered attention for its incredible style reminiscing the late guitarist’s tone.
This will be her debut solo album.
