For the past few days, I’ve been going through loads of CD’s of various bands from Black Sabbath to Judas Priest to Iron Maiden and so forth. The traditional standard for heavy metal that fans idolized for years of their lives. It’s truly an art form of its own and for this music genre to continue to be reflected upon decades after its pristine era, that assures me that the fans from way back still carry the same passion regardless of its popularity in this day and age. When I listen to the hit songs or deep cuts of the past generations it’s enough to keep me satisfied for a lifetime. The stars and icons from back in the day are on constant playback inside many people’s heads without anyone else’s opinion butting in trying to convince them that it isn’t relevant anymore, therefore it’s important to keep the heroes of your youth on the pedestal that makes them look larger than life.
