BLACK SABBATH’S FINAL SHOW: VIDEO AND SET LIST

Black Sabbath took their final bow after a year-long farewell tour in the birthplace of the band and heavy metal itself: Birmingham, England.

After 49 years, Sabbath have officially closed the book on their career. The band has produced 19 studio albums with 5 different singers over the past 5 decades.

Since 2012, three of the original members (Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler) have reunited and toured worldwide. Tommy Clufetos has been the drummer ever since, taking over after Bill Ward refused to sign a contract with the group.

Osbourne has stated that the concert will be an emotional experience for him and elaborated on their overall success and impact in a BBC interview. “One of the proudest things I have in my heart is the fact that Black Sabbath wasn’t a band that was created by some big mogul. It was four guys who said let’s have a dream, and it came true beyond our wildest expectations.”

As of now, there are no plans or projects scheduled for the members after The End tour except Osbourne who is working on new material with Billy Idol guitarist Steve Stevens.

Although Sabbath has been declared officially retired, there are some who expect a few one-off performances in the future.

Perhaps even with Ward behind the kit…
