This week has been tough for AC/DC fans, who are still trying to make sense of the recent controversy surrounding Brian Johnson.
After it was revealed that Johnson was advised by a doctor to quit his live performances due to his hearing, many began accumulating a variety of singers who could fit the band’s profile for the remaining Rock Or Bust Tour dates.
Surprisingly, the front man of Guns N’ Roses did not immediately shoot to the top of everybody’s possibilities list, however it seems this “rumor” might actually be confirmed.
Malcolm Young‘s son, Ross Young assured uncertain fans by shedding light on the issue using a few Facebook posts that were later deleted. The messages said “it’s true” and “he can and he will,” in response to the public who was still wondering if Axl Rose was in fact targeted by AC/DC.
With this news and no further notification from the band, this is the only lead with any evidence behind it. Therefore, how will fans and critics accept this new line-up assuming it is final?
Axl Rose is a few weeks out from his GN’R North American Tour dates which were just announced on Twitter.

Is this a smart move for Rose considering the amount of backlash that resulted from the missing reunion members? Since some remain unsatisfied with the Guns tour, because they aren’t sure if Izzy Stradlin or Steven Adler are involved, this has become one downside for Rose. If he embarks on stage with Angus Young and gets criticized for doing so, that’s a whole other entity of its own.
Many have questioned Rose‘s vocal capacity in Guns N’ Roses. Can he handle both Bon Scott and Brian Johnson eras of AC/DC‘s catalog?
Although it isn’t safe to judge since Rose has proven to sing well on some GN’R songs in concert, there lies the question of what happens if he doesn’t deliver on stage.
Will he have to back off of one tour so he can focus and stay consistent with the other?
