Heart’s Nancy Wilson released a heartful tribute to the late Eddie Van Halen.
Listeners will quickly hear the classic EVH tone as Wilson plays the 1:43 minute instrumental.
Heart and Van Halen toured together and Wilson told some stories about her experience meeting the guitarist.
Most notably, she revealed in a Hawaii Public Radio a personal anecdote from their 70’s tour. “He rang my room and he played for me this beautiful piece of acoustic guitar instrumental music on the phone,” she said. “I was so touched, and it was so beautiful, it was one of the prettiest things I’d ever heard.”
