Wolfgang’s Return To Music

Wolfgang Van Halen has released two songs for his upcoming album Mammoth WVH and the fans have been weighing in all week.

Don’t Back Down introduced an all-star lineup of Wolfgangs complete with a lighthearted comedy routine to introduce the heaviest song he’s released so far.

Although the skit is funny, it’s true that Wolfgang recorded all the instruments not unlike his father who often did the same throughout his career.

Another single was also available the same morning titled Think It Over, taking a more emotional tone resembling the sound and theme of Distance.

The music video takes place at 5150 studios, home of Eddie Van Halen’s songwriting and recording.

He revealed his first song, Distance, as a tribute to his late father. “It was almost like christening the space for the quote-unquote Mammoth future, since I’m going to be spending as much time as possible in there for the future,” he said.

Mammoth WVH will be coming out on June 11, 2021.
